Who we are
Munadi (munadi.tech) makes a small home device that plays the adhan and recitation on your local prayer schedule, and the Munadi Connect mobile app that sets it up and controls it. By creating an account or using the app or device, you agree to these terms.
The short version
- Use Munadi for its intended purpose: prayer reminders and recitation in your home.
- Your account is yours — keep your password safe and give us accurate details.
- Prayer times are calculations; verify with your local mosque when precision matters.
- We can update the app, the device firmware, and these terms to keep the service working and safe.
Your account
You need an account to link devices to you. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your credentials confidential. You must provide a working email address, and you may delete your account at any time — see account deletion.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to break, overload, or probe the service, interfere with other people's devices, or use the app or device in a way that breaks the law where you live. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.
Prayer times and content
Prayer schedules are computed from established calculation methods, or come from the mosque timetable you choose to link (via the community directory mawaqit.net). They are provided in good faith but are not a religious authority; when precision matters, confirm with your local mosque.
The device and updates
The Munadi device receives firmware updates to fix problems and add features. Blocking updates may leave your device insecure or degraded. The app requires the permissions it asks for (such as Bluetooth during setup) to perform those specific functions only, as described in the privacy policy.
Warranty and liability
The app and service are provided "as is", without warranties beyond those required by law. Statutory consumer rights and any written warranty that shipped with your device are unaffected. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for the device.
Privacy
How we handle your information is described in the privacy policy, which is part of these terms.
Changes
When these terms change, the new version is published on this page with an updated date. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new terms.
