Who we are
Munadi (munadi.tech) makes a small home device that plays the adhan and recitation on your local prayer schedule, and the Munadi Connect mobile app that sets it up and controls it. This policy explains what information the app and device handle, and what we do and do not do with it.
The short version
- Your prayer schedule is computed on your own device and phone. It works offline.
- Your location is used only when you ask, only to find mosques near you, and is never stored by us.
- We show no ads, run no analytics or tracking, and never sell data.
Location
The app asks for location permission only when you tap "Use my location" in the mosque picker. Your coordinates are used at that moment to search for nearby mosques and to sort them by distance. They are sent, over an encrypted connection, as search parameters to the mosque directory service (mawaqit.net) and are not saved by us, not used in the background, and not shared with anyone for advertising. You can use the entire app without granting location: search for a mosque by name instead, or use the built-in prayer-time calculation.
Account information
Creating an account uses your name and email address so that your devices and settings can belong to you. Passwords are never stored in plain text. Your mosque link, preferences and downloaded mosque timetable are stored locally on your phone; signing out or uninstalling the app removes them from the phone.
Third-party services
The app talks to exactly two outside services:
- mawaqit.net, the community mosque directory: receives your search coordinates or search text, and serves the mosque timetable you choose to link. See the mawaqit privacy notice.
- CARTO / OpenStreetMap: serves the map imagery in the mosque picker. Like any web request, the tile server sees your IP address. See the CARTO privacy notice.
There are no advertising, analytics or social SDKs in the app.
Data retention and deletion
App data lives on your phone and is removed when you sign out or uninstall the app. If future versions sync settings through our servers, this policy will be updated first and deletion will remain available. For any request about your data, contact us at the address below.
Children
Munadi is a family product for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
When this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with an updated date.

جهاز المنادي وتطبيق Munadi Connect يحسبان مواقيت الصلاة على جهازك مباشرة ويعملان دون إنترنت. لا نعرض إعلانات، ولا نستخدم أدوات تتبع أو تحليلات، ولا نبيع بياناتك.
موقعك يُستخدم فقط عندما تضغط "استخدام موقعي" للبحث عن المساجد القريبة، ويُرسل كإحداثيات بحث إلى دليل المساجد mawaqit.net عبر اتصال مشفر، ولا نخزنه أبداً ولا يُستخدم في الخلفية. يمكنك استخدام التطبيق كاملاً دون منح إذن الموقع.
